Full-Time | Exempt
- Lead and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with CCSS goals
- Oversee brand, website, social media, newsletters, and all public-facing content
- Manage outreach initiatives to expand awareness and access to services
- Supervise outreach, volunteer, and Safe Start program staff
- Develop partnerships with community organizations and represent CCSS at events
- Oversee marketing for Neat Repeats resale stores
- Collaborate with leadership on fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and annual reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
- 5+ years of marketing/communications experience (nonprofit preferred)
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong skills in digital marketing, social media, and content creation
- Experience with website management and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
- Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends
- Full-time, exempt (manager-level salary band)

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia has been providing hope and services to victims of domestic violence for over 40 years through housing, counseling, advocacy, outreach and prevention programs. We are a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence. With a staff of more than 50 employees and a budget of over four million dollars, the Crisis Center continues to grow while offering free services to Chicago’s south suburban communities.
