The Sr. Director of Victim Services will oversee the following responsibilities:
- Supervise the Director of Shelter Operations and the Director of Case Management
- Leading the Victim Services Division, including Lifeline programs, Hotline operations, and Emergency Services, ensuring all services follow trauma-informed, strengths-based, and harm reduction principles.
- Developing annual goals and objectives for each program, evaluating success, and identifying enhancements to improve services.
- Overseeing the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff, interns, and volunteers within the division.
- Ensuring that all client data is accurately documented, program goals are met, and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
- Managing outreach initiatives to underserved and marginalized communities, building relationships with community partners to increase access to resources for survivors.
- Administering program policies and ensuring compliance with funders’ guidelines, reporting on program outcomes, and ensuring timely audits.
- Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate program delivery and provide leadership on high-level crisis intervention management when needed.
- Providing rotating on-call coverage for Victim Services and shift coverage as needed.
- Ensuring programs adhere to funding and DHS service guidelines and managing the Emergency Assistance fund spending for the department.
- Acting as a resource for program staff, ensuring their professional development and skill enhancement through ongoing training.

We are a non-profit community organization that provides emergency shelter and other essential services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence. With a staff of more than 50 employees and a budget of over four million dollars, the Crisis Center continues to grow while offering free services to Chicago’s south suburban communities.
